Khan Academy is an American non-profit educational organization created in 2006 by Sal Khan, with the goal of creating a set of online tools that help educate students. The organization produces short lessons in the form of videos. Its website also includes supplementary practice exercises and materials for educators. All resources are available for free to users of the website and application. Many Williamsville district school teachers and students benefit from Khan Academy free online education resources. Khan Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, mostly funded by donations. Williamsville East High classes are organizing donations to Khan Academy. As East High School students, here we start a fundraising campaign. All the donations we get will go to Khan Academy, and we will provide a detailed update upon the completion of the campaign. Any amount of your help will be highly appreciated! Through this campaign, we also hope more and more people will know Khan Academy.
